Art Term 1

This term we have been making our avatar art (it was a process) first we found a avatar generator and customised our avatar to look more like us, next we printed it out, after that we bacicly enlarged our avatar onto a bigger piece of paper, paint it then you are done (this took way to many weeks)

Financial Numeracy Program

For numeracy we have been trying out the financial literacy program. I personally love this program!
At the start of the programme you get a sheet you have to fill out about what you want to have when your 40 (kids, pets, cars, love life).  This then is your base for the whole programme. After that you get an income card (very important).  On this it tells you if you get a salary or wages.  You have to calculate your weekly income and your tax using the information on this card.  Everyone earns different money. I got barely any money. Every week you get paid then you have to pay your tax and your mortgage or rent.  You also get a fortune card that might say, your kids want new shoes or that you want more clothes which is bills you have to pay.  10% of the fortune cards give you money the rest make you pay. At the end of the month you have to pay sky, internet and electricity like that. We keep a running balance sheet for the month. There is much more to the program than what I have said, it would of taken 6 years to write it all down.  At the end of all of this stressful time I was $575.03 in debt, so I had to take that money out of my savings so now I only have $1424.97 in my saving.  We are going to start another month of budgeting next term.  Hopefully I can earn more money than I spend.

Pumpkin Soup Part 2

This week we are making Pumpkin Soup with the whole class every group got a pumpkin (four in each group), we are going to take you through our pumpkin adventure. First you take the pumpkin out of the oven (be careful) take of the tin foil of and scoop the pumpkin it to a blender (do not add skin) then blend, add it in to an pot to boil also add cream then set to boil, when finished put out to cool, then enjoy. I love my pumpkin soup, one day you should try it 😁

West Coast Language Features

This week for literacy we were sent and doc, with a link to lots of different posts and story's about the west coast. We had to find different Language Features it the different text's then we had to write our own west coast themed version it is very hard to describe, you'll see.

Pumpkin Soup Part 1

This week we are making Pumpkin Soup with the whole class every group got a pumpkin (four in each group), we are going to take you through our pumpkin adventure. First we had to clean, and cut open the Pumpkins (we have so many pumpkins), Secondly we scoped out the seeds, then we had to fill the pumpkin with butter and Garlic, then cook for a looooooong time this is as far as we have gotten we will be making the soup soon stay up dated...
here are some of the ingredients we used😁

Our pumpkin is a bit damaged hopefully it is still good on the inside...

We have to cut and scoop out the inside...

Then we cut and add the butter and garlic... (don't forget to season too)

Then cut a small slither off the pumpkin to be able to stand it up

Add in the oven
